Unwind in Andalucia

Unwind in your own tranquil corner of Andalucia in a period village house and enjoy an authentic taste of Spanish life.

A year-round holiday destination

Untouched by the hustle and bustle of tourism, yet only 30 minutes from Granada airport, Casa Antonio's three self contained houses afford flexible accommodation for 2 – 16 people.

Large swimming pool and large south facing mature garden

Pick fruit, vegetables and herbs from the garden terraces in several peaceful nooks & corners

The views speak for themselves

Our Spanish friends and neighbours always exclaim “precioso!” as they pass the gate and our guests upon arrival are equally enamoured, saying that they had expected it to be lovely but had not realised just how beautiful it was and that the pictures they had seen did not do it justice.

Holiday rental near Granada

A year round destination in the beautiful foothills of the mountains north of Granada waiting to be discovered. An area with so much to offer and yet untouched by the hustle and bustle of tourism. If you are looking to find a hidden gem in Andalucía, Casa Antonio is for you.

Casa Antonio is a traditional property of this region, built nearly 100 years ago and sympathetically renovated and divided into 3 self contained cottages in 2005. Flexible accommodation of various sizes from 2 people to 6/8, this property lends itself to couples, families and large groups to 16+ people

The large garden runs down to a small river, which forms the boundary between Jaen and Granada provinces, is south facing and enjoys fabulous views to the hills opposite, down the valley and the mountains beyond. The large swimming pool and BBQ completes the setting.

Age-old tradition

The property has its huerto (vegetable garden) and acequia (small spring water canal) winding through for irrigation. Fruit, vegetables, salads and herbs are all grown in abundance…can you picture yourself picking and eating within minutes? … the ultimate “just in time delivery”.

History unfolds in this region which saw the 700 year dominance of the Moors crumble to the Catholic advance in the 1490s. A region full of castles, mosques, cathedrals and watchtowers, where conversation today, seamlessly incorporates Arabic words.

A holiday with the very best this region has to offer, walking, bird watching, fiestas, culture, historical splendour, learn how to cook a traditional Spanish meal in your own cottage or just the pleasure of unwinding in the sun, in the garden, savouring the peace, surrounded by birdsong. Find your own peace in one of the several tranquil nooks in the garden.

Still more to come!
